Miraculous Medal Novena: Wednesday 8:30am

First Friday Adoration: 8:30am

*during the installation of the new Air Conditioning system in the Church, weekday Masses, Wednesday Confessions and  Friday Stations of the Cross will be celebrated in the Convent Chapel.

     It is our hope and plan that this installation will be completed before Palm Sunday.



MASSES (First Sunday of Lent to Palm Sunday):

The regular Sunday Schedule of Masses will be in effect for all the Sundays of Lent;

            Saturday: 4:30pm and 6pm

            Sunday: 8am, 10:15am and 12 Noon

The weekday Mass, Monday through Friday, is at 8am.(Convent Chapel)*

March 5 - Ash Wednesday; Masses at 8am, 10am, 12noon and 7pm

                         Ashes distributed during all Masses

March 7 to April 12 - Stations of the Cross; Fridays at 8:30am and 7pm (Church)

March 12 -  Parish Council meeting, 7:30pm (Parish Center/Convent)

April 2019

RECONCILIATION (Confessions):

Wednesdays following the 8am Mass (approx.. 8:30am) (Convent Chapel)*

Saturdays: 3:45pm (except April 20)

Parish Lenten Reconciliation Service: Monday, April 1, 2019 – 7pm (in the Church)

STATIONS OF THE CROSS:

Fridays in Lent (not April 19, Good Friday) following the 8am Morning Mass and at 7pm (Convent Chapel)*

    (exception: Friday, March 29 at 7pm the Stations will be presented as a live Mime by our IHM School students in the School Gym)

PARISH SEDER MEAL  Sunday, April 7, 4:30pm  (School Gym)  (watch for announcement to purchase advance tickets)

A celebration of the ancient rite of the Passover meal, still celebrated in Jewish homes today, and the traditional setting of the Lord’s Last Supper when He instituted the Sacraments of Eucharist and Holy Orders.

HOLY WEEK

Masses on Palm Sunday will celebrated at the regular times.  Palms will be distributed before Mass and blessed at the beginning of Mass.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: Regular schedule of Masses and Wed. morning confessions.


April 13/14:  Palm Sunday,  Regular Schedule of Masses on Saturday and Sunday

April 15 - Archdiocesan Chrism Mass, 7pm at Cathedral of Mary our Queen

Holy Thursday: April 18

                         8am Morning Prayer (no 8am Mass)

                         7:30pm – Mass of the Lord’s Supper (in Church) followed by adoration until 11pm at the Repository 

                         (Convent Chapel)

Good Friday: April 19

                      8am Morning Prayer (no 8am Mass);

                      7:30pm – Service of the Lord’s Passion (Church)


Holy Saturday: April 20

                         11am – Blessing of Easter Foods (Church)

                         7:30pm – Easter Vigil Mass

                         (There is no 4:30pm or 6pm Mass on Holy Saturday and no scheduled confessions)


EASTER SUNDAY, April 21  (NOTE: SPECIAL MASS TIMES)

                         Masses at 7:30am,  9am, 10:30am and 12:15pm 


FIRST COMMUNION CELEBRATIONS:

The celebrations of First Communion will take place on Sunday, April 28 at the 10:15am and 12 Noon Masses and on Saturday, May 4 at the 4:30pm Mass.


May 2019

May 5 - May Procession at the 12 Noon Mass (Church)

                     -followed by Parish Picnic on the Parish Grounds (tentative)
